About Spartan Mode

Adam Boyce is an authorized Instructor of Martial Blade Concepts and one of only a handful of MBC Instructors in the entire world who travel to teach seminars. Adam's previous career experience has included being an Assaulter and Sniper on SRT (Special Response Team) for nearly 7 years, following which he has spent over the last decade of his career working in the training department for the same government agency, in total he has close to two decades professional experience.   He is a Defensive Tactics, Firearms and Advanced Weapons Systems instructor, and Knife Designer, he has multiple years training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, he earned a Bachelor of Science from Idaho State University in Training and Development with an emphasis in Adult Learning and is fluent in Spanish.  A perpetual student of self-defense Adam is continuously looking for and testing the best self-defense methods and practices and has taken nearly 50 courses from some of the top instructors in the world over the last five years on top of the required courses to maintain his certifications as an instructor for the agency he works for.  Adam believes the best instructors are those that continue to learn, and you can find Adam not only teaching others but attending multiple seminars taught by other instructors throughout the year.   His career experience makes him a natural fit for training LEO and Military in which he excels and loves but Adams true passion is helping people of all ages, sizes and physical capacities gain critical skills and knowledge to defend themselves and the ones they love.
