Yes. If you are new to self-defense training, Introduction to Blades, Earn Your Draw, Red Dot Pistol, or Carbine are excellent starting points. These courses provide the foundational knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to begin your self-defense journey, and you will leave the course more capable and confident.

No. We provide all required training aids for the Introduction to Blades and Earn Your Draw courses. If you have a training gun or knife that closely replicates what you carry every day and would like to train with it, please bring it with you. We will inspect it to ensure it is safe for use. In general, we recommend completing the class before purchasing training equipment so you can make a more informed decision about what best fits your needs.

All participants must be at least 18 years old. Rare exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please email us directly with any questions.

Unfortunately, children are not permitted to attend. We work hard to provide the best possible learning environment for all participants, and limiting attendance to registered students helps maintain focus, safety, and the quality of instruction.

The X16 Ginunting is available through a variety of distributors, including TOPS Knives and Blade HQ. The Agoge and Agoge 2 are currently out of stock. If you are interested in one of these blades, please email adam@spartanmode.com directly or send us a message through the Contact Us form on the Classes / Bio page. If there is enough interest, we will do our best to offer another production run.

Yes! We Stand behind the quality of our training. If you fully participate in the class and are not completely satisfied with the instruction provided, contact us within 24 hours of the class and we will refund your tuition in full. This guarantee is offered in good faith. 

We understand that life happens. Your tuition is fully transferable. Contact us as soon as possible to move your registration to a future class of equal or lesser value at no additional cost. 

Please note that transfers are offered in place of refunds for scheduling conflicts or personal circumstances.  This is separate from our satisfaction guarantee, which applies only if you attend the class and are not satisfied with the instruction.
